The adrenal fatigue theory suggests that prolonged exposure to stress could drain the adrenals leading to a low cortisol state. The adrenal depletion would cause brain fog, low energy, depressive mood, salt, and sweet cravings, lightheadedness, and other vague symptoms.
When it comes to Adrenal fatigue ( hypoadrenia) where your body is exhausted, burnt out, and unable to physically, mentally, and emotionally recover from the daily stresses of life, it is commonly overlooked and shut down by today's world.
Since there's an argument about Adrenal Fatigue being "Real" or not, we can bring your attention to being too stressed and stuck in a fight or flight to making this more digestible. We can also use terms like fatigued and exhausted.
